Most founders waste money on AI infrastructure way too early.
GPUs.
Custom stacks.
Expensive APIs.
“Scalability.”
Before they even validated if anyone wants the product 😅
Meanwhile NVIDIA gives access to 40+ AI models through hosted APIs.
And really, more founders should know this exists.

You can test:
→ DeepSeek
→ MiniMax
→ Kimi
→ GLM
→ GPT-OSS
→ and others
…without building your own infra or burning thousands during experimentation.
That’s the important part.
Not “free AI”.
Freedom to iterate.
You can switch models depending on:
– latency
– reasoning quality
– coding performance
– multilingual support
– pricing
Without rebuilding your entire stack every 2 weeks.
And setup is absurdly simple:
Generate API key.
Choose model.
Plug into existing SDK.
Done.
The free tier won’t scale forever.
But bluntly: most startups don’t die because inference costs were too high.
They die because nobody wanted the product. AI infra is becoming modular very fast.
The winners probably won’t be founders with the biggest GPU budgets.
But founders who validate faster than everyone else.
If you’re building an AI product and want honest feedback before burning money on infra, agents and complexity too early — that’s exactly what I discuss with founders in Crash Tests:
