Mark Cuban recently pointed to a market hiding in plain sight: roughly 33 million US businesses, most of them without the people or knowledge to integrate AI into daily operations. His advice was to learn less about building new models and more about implementing existing ones inside real companies.

The people doing this work will sit somewhere between consultant, operator and builder. They will need to understand invoicing, sales, logistics, customer support and internal processes, then turn that knowledge into practical AI systems.

Every technology wave created a service industry around it. The internet created web agencies. Cloud computing created managed service providers. AI will probably create a much larger class of implementation specialists, because almost every business has different workflows, data and customers.

The opportunity is not another generic AI tool. It is helping thousands of ordinary companies use the tools that already exist.
